• Absolute integrity - to give our clients complete confidence regarding confidentiality and the knowledge that their project is safe in Argenta’s hands; furthermore, rigorous procedures are used for data management and security, including encryption of any sensitive data being exchanged with our clients.
  
  
• Total trust - we will not undertake any projects where there is a conflict of interest with previous or ongoing client programmes, or with our in-house R&D.
  
  
• Open, honest and timely communication - prior to beginning a collaboration Argenta will agree with our client a programme of formal communications and meetings, including written reports, teleconferences and face-to-face meetings, in addition to regular scientist-to-scientist contact whenever required.
  
  
• Flexibility - we recognize that scientific projects sometimes cannot be completely defined in advance, and that both scientific activities and business structures may need to adapt during the lifetime of a collaboration.

These principles are adhered to with all our clients, large and small, and ensure that scientific programmes are structured within a sound commercial framework. Argenta’s extensive drug discovery capability permits a flexible working approach and allows our partners to utilise Argenta scientists as needs be to complement their in-house activities. In this way, a client should view our teams as an extension of their own in-house capability.
