Argenta undertakes entire discovery programmes for our clients, from target to candidate, integrating chemistry, physical sciences, CADD, biology and ADMET. We also run discrete projects focusing on the specific aspects of the discovery process required by our clients.

Our integrated approach, using multidisciplinary project teams and close inter-group communication, is central to increasing the overall speed and efficiency of the discovery process.

Argenta scientists are drawn from a range of pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies and have considerable experience in all phases of drug discovery.

We have expertise in many therapeutic areas and have worked on all major druggable target classes, including GPCRs, ion channels, proteases, kinases, integrins and nuclear hormone receptors.

Intellectual property - to complement our scientific expertise, Argenta scientists have a thorough awareness of the importance of intellectual property in their work. This ranges from understanding the level of information required to patent a novel compound or methodology, to performing patent searches and undertaking patent exemplification studies.
