Argenta's development pipeline comprises:
- ADC4022 - a potential anti-inflammatory treatment for COPD. It is the group's most advanced compound and is currently being tested in a Phase IIa proof of concept clinical trial. ADC4022 is a proprietary combination of inhaled theophylline and budesonide that has the potential to render COPD and steroid-insensitive asthma responsive to steroid therapies. The group owns all rights to this programme.
- ADC3322 - an inhaled anti-inflammatory compound for the treatment of COPD. It was selected as a candidate for development from a well-understood class of drugs and is expected to enter the clinic in late 2008 (partnered with Dr Reddy's).
- dAb - inhaled single domain antibody anti-inflammatory (partnered with Domantis, a subsidiary of GlaxoSmithKline).
- LAMA - inhaled long-acting muscarinic (M3) receptor antagonists (partnered with AstraZeneca).
- MABA - inhaled dual-acting muscarinic (M3) receptor antagonists / beta-2 receptor agonists (partnered with AstraZeneca).
- ADC7828 - an inhaled elastase inhibitor, believed to be the first small molecule in this class for the treatment of CF and COPD. It is expected to enter the clinic in Q4 2009.
- ADC3680 - an oral prostaglandin D2 (CRTh2) receptor antagonist for the treatment of allergic asthma and rhinitis. It is expected to enter the clinic in mid-2009.
